rental rules: Internal Rules of Seasonal Rental – Le Cocon du Bourg Saint Jean in Blois Welcome to Le Cocon du Bourg Saint Jean! We are happy to welcome you and hope you have a pleasant stay. In order to guarantee everyone's satisfaction and respect for our spaces, please follow the rules below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. 1. General Terms and Conditions By accepting these rules, you agree to abide by the rental conditions. In case of non-compliance, the owner reserves the right to terminate the rental contract without refund and the tenant is responsible for the damage and will have to pay the costs of repair or replacement. All guests and visitors must comply with these rules, as well as the owner's instructions. 2. Calm and Respect for the Neighborhood Please respect the tranquility of the place, especially between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Parties, loud gatherings and loud music are strictly prohibited. In the event of non-compliance with the calm, we reserve the right to terminate the rental contract without refund for nuisance and, if necessary, to appeal to the authorities. 3. Visitors Visitors are allowed during the day only, with a limit of 2 visitors per booking. They cannot stay overnight without prior authorization. Please inform us of the arrival of any visitor to ensure compliance with the rules of the building and safety instructions. 4. Parking Guests must respect local parking rules. Vehicles must not obstruct access to other residents. 5. Waste and Selective Sorting We ask that you sort your waste and deposit it in the appropriate bins. Please follow the sorting instructions indicated in the accommodation. No rubbish should be left in the common areas or on the outdoor grounds. 6. Use of Electricity and Radiators For safety and energy saving reasons, please turn off lights, radiators and electrical appliances when you leave the apartment. Connected electric heaters are managed by the owner. Attempts to modify it may result in a repair fee. 7. Security When leaving the unit, make sure that all windows and doors are closed to avoid any risk of intrusion or damage. We are not responsible for any loss or theft of personal belongings. 8. Damage and Breakage Please report any broken or damaged items as soon as possible. Failure to report may result in additional payment for replacement. Furniture and equipment must not be moved without our prior agreement. 9. Tobacco Non-smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation. Cigarette butts should be extinguished in outdoor ashtrays only, and not thrown on the ground. Violations of this rule may result in additional cleaning charges. 10. Animals Pets are not allowed in the accommodation, unless previously agreed. Failure to do so may result in additional cleaning charges. 11. Cooking and Dishes The kitchen is at your disposal, but we kindly ask you to keep it clean. Used dishes must be washed and put away before you leave. Please do not leave uneaten food in the fridge when you leave. 12. Balcony / Terrace If the accommodation has a balcony or terrace, please respect the neighbourhood and avoid making too much noise. Be careful not to throw objects or cigarette butts outside the ashtrays provided. 13. Arrival and Departure Check-in: between 16:00 and 24:00, unless previously agreed. Check-out: no later than 11:00 a.m. Late check-out without an agreement may incur additional charges. Before your departure, we ask you to tidy up the apartment, empty the garbage and leave the accommodation in an orderly state. 14. Cleaning Basic cleaning is included in your stay. However, if the apartment requires a thorough cleaning following your departure, additional costs may be charged. Please respect the furniture and equipment at your disposal. 15. Use of the Bicycle Storage Room A secure room is available to store your bikes. We kindly ask that you keep it clean and store the bikes in an orderly manner. The owner declines all responsibility in the event of theft or damage to the bicycles left in the premises. Please make sure to use locks to secure your personal bikes. 17. Free Bike Loan We provide you with free bicycles to make your travels easier. These bikes are to be used exclusively for the duration of your stay and must be returned in the original condition. If you lose or damage significantly during your use of the bicycles, we may ask you to cover the cost of repair or replacement. For your safety, we encourage you to wear a helmet and obey the highway code at all times. 18. Compliance with the Rules Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate eviction without refund.
